Spot illustrations done for the Calgary Stampede’s 2013 Flood timeline. On Thursday, June 20, 2013, southern Alberta suffered one of the worst natural disasters in Canadian history. The floods left much of Stampede Park under water. With less than two weeks to go until Stampede 101, the Calgary Stampede organized and orchestrated a massive recovery effort and opened its doors on time.
